One trip

I hate going back and forth from the car to bring in my groceries. This was even worse when I lived in the third floor apartment. Even now on the ground floor, my arms are sometimes dead from carrying a bazillion bags in one trip to the house.

But it is not just groceries. Before I settled in on the couch for some How I Met Your Mother, I tried to foresee what I might need: water, ChocoVine, nail polish remover, cotton balls, nail file, a hand full of Cadbury mini-eggs, my phone, the remote, and my computer. Oh, I made sure to use the bathroom and put on some comfy pants before I sat down. Don't want to get up before I really need to!

[Note: this clearly works most effectively in a household sans children or dogs who may require attention before you truly need to get up.]

K. Off to work on that speech...

No, I still do that. It's usually after the kids are in bed adn I just keep my fingers double-crossed that your niece doesn't decide to NOT go to sleep so that I can sit and not move for a couple of hours and unwind. How's the Chocovino?

I love to get settled in all comfy and not move at all. It's so nice after a day of running around. I am impressed by your planning and getting organized so that you don't have to get up. Nicely done!

Aim, the chocovino isn't bad. Kinda along the lines of Baileys. We'll have to crack some open.

Spark, thanks! Makes me relax more instead of jumping up every 15 minutes to do something.

You sound like me. When I sit on the couch, I'm in it for the long haul.

Note: I have children. It works on some days. Other days..not so much. They like the stuff I put near me. haha.

Amber, do you get the kids' attention with toys and/or food? :-)
