Public service announcements

I have two things in the past week that have really bothered me.

If you are a man and are hairy, please tuck in or trim that chest hair that usually peaks out the top of your shirt.

If you like to wear perfume, and I mean nice perfume, please do not BATHE in your perfume. Just spritz it on a little so you smell nice and I, I mean, people do not have to crank the air conditioning to air out a room with no windows.

And one more that I keep noticing.

If you are talking about a person, it is "who". If you are talking about a thing, it is "that". Do not say, "The person that I was speaking to." If you want to get all grammar police, I would recommend saying, "The person to whom I was speaking," in that situation. I would settle for "The person who I was speaking to," though.

Misuse of your/you're drives me crazy. Makes it much worse if it's in "texting language" (ur/u're).

I have a labmate with a thing for hairy men. Yikes.

Also? I was leaving the gym following a nurse (guessing by the scrubs) wearing so much perfume it was strong from 20 feet behin her. Her poor patients!

On body hair: I was on the subway yesterday and this guy gets up in front of me and his pants sag down on his backside. But instead of seeing his shorts, I see lots and lots of backside HAIR!! ewwww!
