So what would you say if someone you met a couple of months ago, and had been talking with/texting/messaging with online suggested that he come visit. Then he figures out it is a 13 hour drive, and the logistics of flying or taking a train. Then he drives 2 hours to get on a train for about 18 hours to visit for 3 1/2 days, only to do the train and car drive in reverse. And he keeps mentioning that he is looking forward to getting away and visiting and relaxing for the weekend. You know, hypothetically speaking?

Well If that hypothetically happened that someone I knew wanted to do that I would be quite pleased. I would stock up on condoms and lube and ice cream and.... ummm... did you really want my opinion??? LOL
he's taking the train?! i don't know that there's much to say beyond "i'm looking forward to seeing you," and having a nice meal ready upon said person's arrival.... said person must think something (or, more likely, someone) is worth the trip!
wow, he must really like cats! :)
Well! Then! :)
I went with making an apple pie and making up the fold-out couch. :-) Now to think about making sure I have enough food...
Making up the fold-out couch? That's cold. I hope you'll at least warm up the pie for him.
maybe she just doesn't want to jinx things?
Hypothetically speaking, the recipient of this upcoming trip would have to repress a certain amount of glee, so as not to scare the hypothetical guy, I imagine. I think a nice pie sounds perfect. Perhaps if this hypothetical guy liked beer, it would be good to plan the trip to coincide with one of the beer festivals...
Pie was eaten and a good time was had by all...You know, hypothetically speaking.
