I resubmitted an application for a training grant this past spring. The original reviews were generally quite positive about my research plan, and the negative comments were about either research that I have now completed or my mediocre undergraduate grades from ten years ago.
My supervisor is optimistic about the resubmission because of the new data I have and the changes in the proposed research.
I am cautiously optimistic.
The grant applications were reviewed last week, so of course I am obsessively checking the status to get the score and feedback to have an idea about whether they felt the application was improved, and hopefully fundable. Every time I log in, my stomach does a little somersault.
It would be nice to know this before I head out for a long weekend Thursday morning so I can stop worrying.

P.S. I got a really good score. Might have to stay in the Midwest 2 more years, which is good and bad.
waiting sucks... glad you got a high score!
Best of luck! It's lame that they can hold ten-year-old grades against you. You're applying today, right?
Congrats on a really good score!!!!
Man, you found out that quickly after the panel? NASA results usually are a minimum of 3 months after the panel, and sometimes way longer...
Thanks, all!
Spark, I sent in the application the beginning of April. :-)
Caro, well, the comments aren't up and I don't find out until August if I get funding, soooo....
