I like making my own black bean burgers, but they never really stick together through the whole cooking process. I tried this recipe from Self magazine, but have had the same problem with other recipes. Maybe I do not let it cook long enough on both sides? Admittedly, I added some carrots when I chopped the mushrooms and used the equivalent amount of bread, rather than breadcrumbs, but still?
Although I am sure it is good, I also did not make the corn salsa the recipe suggested. I just ate it with cheese and a bun. :)
I also made peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and those stayed together just fine.
