2000+ miles

CF and I have covered a LOT of ground from mid-December through New Year's. Because I left my cat alone longer than I have before, I got a second cat pan. She now uses one for #1 and one for #2.

Anyway.

We headed to my parents' house for Christmas (or as I like to call it my Dad and Jesus's birthdays). We set out our stockings...
Luckily Santa found the house...
CF and I used my parents' snowshoes before and after they got 18 inches of snow.
The snowshoes did not do us much good after the 18 inches, but it was good exercise trekking through all that snow!
And we saw the Trans Siberian Orchetra...

Tonight we are off to a New Year's Eve party out (adding another 2 hours of driving in each direction). I will be back next year...probably as infrequently as I have been here recently. I have a lot of data to try to get together in the next few days to get a poster together by Tuesday to print out before I head to a conference next weekend.

Your parents have a lovely house. That tree is stunning.

It's cute that your cat has her pans organized. Maybe if I get really rich I'll set up two toilets, one for #1 and one for #2. ;-)

Spark, their house is a wonderful place to escape to! If you had 2 dedicated bathrooms, people would always know what you were doing in the bathroom....
