Some faves

I have lots of favorite photos from my trip and am limiting myself to an additional 10 after yesterdays posts. As much as I love my Elph, these photos make me want something more than a point and shoot. I do not think I am ready to trade in the pocket-sized camera for a bigger one, but maybe when it comes to a wedding or babies I will trade up.

The fifth one down is my personal favorite. Nothing like a big rock and some water...

The architecture of the church is just beautiful.

I also love the seahorse. Was that at the zoo?

I've always wanted to see a signpost pointing to different locales with distances marked on them in person...
... some day. :-)

Where is the big grassy field? It looks like a University building in the background.

Ooooh, pretty horsies!

You'll probably love having a fancier camera. The only thing is it's sometimes a pain to carry around one that's big and bulky. I'm always just a little too lazy to take the big camera. For that matter, I've barely been using the small one either.

Ron, so you have the same photo eye as I do, huh? ;-)

Thanks, Dr. Girlfriend!

Danielle, I thought I was going to get away with not describing them. ;-) The seahorse was at an aquarium, although the Hamburg Zoo has a really nice aquarium building! The big grassy field is a planetarium near a park in Hamburg, so it is an academic-ish building.

The horsies were totally posing, Spark. And it is the bulkiness of a better camera that deters me. Some day...
