Making up a day.

I joined this whole Blog 365 thing a day late. I'll just give a brief update on the dating sitch (or lack there of), to make up for it.

There's nothing to tell.

Well, there's this law student with whom I've been messaging. He's got my number and really needs to call though. I think he has exams right now. Whatev.

I saw my ex as he drove down the street without his headlights on at 9 o'clock last night. Wicked smuckin' fart. People were yelling, "lights" and I just smiled to myself and crossed my fingers that he wasn't going to the same place I was. He wasn't.

I got to spend New Year's with a bunch of single women (plus one couple). We were joking about how we all found each other, 10 years ago, in college because we have some common defect that has caused us to approach our 30's as single, intelligent, attractive, ambitious, fun women. There's something wrong with that. If we could only isolate this defective gene, it would be easy to market the therapy. Or maybe it's the gene men hold to detect such wonderfulness that needs to be identified? We'll go with that. One of these friends (hi Zika!) and I discussed having a singles party. This would not be to randomly hook up with other singles at a party, but rather to identify eligible bachelors and bachelorette's within our friend network and just meet new people. Sure, there's a bunch of friend/dating networks online, but we're at the end of generation that went to college without google. Of course we've embraced the internet...almost. [Subject for future post.]

That's all for now on dating.

I don't have a lot to say on this one. But I thought I'd let you know I read it and am listening.

At first I read it as: "there's this law student with whom I've been massaging." I was like: what does she mean, nothing to tell? Oh, wait. I get it.

Thanks Danielle! I still am not quite sure why I started blogging, but it is certainly nice to vent a bit. :)

Sparkling Red, massaging would be sooo much better then messaging. Oh, well.
