Crazy weather

There is a New England (Boston?) joke that goes something like this: If you don't like the weather in New England, just wait 15 minutes and it will change.

It is usually unpredictable here, but not as unpredictable as it has been! The strangest thing is that every afternoon we seem to get a storm. After a day in Boston with the family doing and seeing crazy stuff like this...

A guy jumping over six people (of course wearing Celtics jerseys because they are the champions and all)...And balloon hats at lunch. My niece's had pink balloons and said 'Princess'. I am wearing my nephew's.
...we saw this after a downpour during dinner.
This is maybe the third time I have seen a good rainbow in the last month!

Today, there was a ridiculous downpour with small hail and wind. I managed to be inside during the worst of it, but it was at least the second time that it was sunny and then all of a sudden there were storm clouds and it was pouring today. I was just sitting here catching up on my email and trying to do some work and noticed how pretty the sky was as the sun was going down and the storm clouds are passing. Then I went out back and took a picture from the other side of the house. So basically, my point is that the weather has been crazy, but the sky has been pretty because of it! And I wanted to post some more pictures. :-)

Awesome hat! Where can I get one of those in Columbus?

is that had thing on your head a boston tradition or something? Because I only know one person IRL that lives in boston, but they have a picture on their facebook of them in almost the exact same hat.

Ron and Maxie, those hats are from Dick's Last Resort. Apparently they also have restaurants in Dallas, San Antonio, Myrtle Beach, Chicago, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

I think the white part of the hat is really funny. It reminds me of these clean-room sleeves we use in the lab some times. Good picture of you BTW.

And a funny tidbit - Ellen had a guy who jumped cars on her show one time. Yes, a whole car. It was crazy.

I think Toronto is sharing the same weather system, with all the crazy storms, hail, flooding etc. :-p It's very apocalyptic.

I wonder how they pick who gets to be the last guy in line for the people-jumper. If the jumper falls short, guess who takes the hit? Maybe they do rock, paper, scissors.
