Some of my favorite beers from the beer fest:
One Eared Monkey, a peach ale, from Papercity Brewery in Holyoke, MA.
A raspberry porter, Southern Tier Brewery, Lakewood, NY.
Jasmine Pale Ale, Rock Art Brewery, Morrisville, VT. I like jasmine tea and this had a slight hint of jasmine without being weird.
There is another beer fest I have been to with beers with odd ingredients (like beets, EWWW), and these three beers would fit in. I like trying the different ones that you can not get in the store at these festivals though!

I like the name of "One Eared Monkey", though I'm not sure how I would feel about peach beer. Glad you had fun!
I wish I knew more about beer. I always get so overwhelmed at beer gardens... i just say give me the thing that kind of tastes like bud light. lol
OK for the record I don't drink. I have tried some beer and it's just not for me, I actually prefer schnapps or frozen drinks. But then I realized I would just like a fruit smoothie even more than the frozen drink :) Anyway I once saw a pumpkin beer her at a pumpkin festival (big surprise) and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried.
I like funny beer names more than I like beer. :-)
Molly, it was subtle, just like the jasmine.
Maxie, someone told me once that everyone should have a beer they can drink. If Bud Light is it, that's great. :-)
Ron, I am a huge fan of smoothies too! I have only had pumpkin beers that tasted like pumpkin pie spice and that was pretty good.
Spark, it would be a fun job naming beers. They don't always have anything to do with the actual beer!
