Huh *UPDATED*

The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.
- Henry Miller
I posted this earlier today, at work, even though I do NOT do that at work, just in case my internet was still funky. It is back up and running, but a little slow. SO, I figured I should give you an example of what Henry Miller may have been talking about.'Cuz, you know, even though I took the afternoon off to go to the beach today and it was great, sometimes these darn seagulls are so annoying and loud. (Take the scene in Finding Nemo when they are all screeching "Mine Mine Mine Mine" and then your 2-year old nephew mimicking them.) But if you stop to notice how different each one is and have the pleasure of watching how clever they are casing various towels looking for food, they are more entertaining than anything

This is true. But who has time for that kind of thing these days?

Especially if you just took a hit of acid before looking at said grass :)

Spark, I made a little time for a change today.

Ron, I bet the seagull would have been cooler too.

I hope I see some seagulls when I am at the Gulf. I always think they are fascinating.

You know, thinking about seagulls makes me think about this cool painting that my friend made of her mom feeding a flying seagull. I'm not sure that I've ever tried feeding them.... maybe I should take a little bag of birdseed in my luggage. I kinda hate to feed them bread since it isn't that great for them.

Danielle, I'm sure you'll see some seagulls. They'll eat anything. Protect your beach bag!
