Funny stuff

Until I have my own a million years from now, I have my niece and nephew for endless entertainment. Case in point.

My Dad was with my then maybe 4-year old nephew, who kept hitting his head and saying, "Oh man!" My Dad says, "Why are you hitting yourself and saying 'Oh man'?" "Grampa, I'm not allowed to say 'Oh Shit'."

Duh.

Niece: Mommy, are you going to throw me like a mashed potato?
My sister's explanation: This was in response to telling her that I was going to "drop you like a hot potato if you tickle me again!"

Nephew to my sister: Oh, Darn it! Oops, I mean, Oh Damn it! Uhh, I mean, uummm, Mommy? Is it "darn it" or "damn it" that I can say?

I love the funny things kids say. Mashed potato... ha! :-)

I like the "darn it" or "damn it" comment. We try to teach them but ... it takes a while for it to get through!

Spark, they are hilarious! I love it when they use big words too.

Aurora, I just found out my godson went through a phase using the f-word. He's a little over 2 and his parents certainly do not use that language (or really have the TV on when he is awake)!
