Yesterday I get all excited about being a kindergarten star.
Yesterday I got a random email that I am going to receive a $100 gift certificate to an expensive restaurant. For real. It's in the mail.
Yesterday I discover the "Who's viewed you tab" (which I think is new???) on the online dating service and a guy from over the summer looked at me. That's right he still wants me. ;) (joking...sorta)
Today, I reach out my window on my way to campus to snap my windshield wiper to clean it off. Have you done this? I do this all the time. Only this time my windshield wipers stopped moving. The motor is still going, so that's good. But this weekend snow is predicted and Sunday I am supposed to drive 2 hours to a wedding shower. There will be no highway driving if I can't get my wipers fixed tomorrow.

uh oh. Sounds like a problem.
No, I haven't reached out to my windshield wiper. I tried once when there was something stuck under it that was paper-ish, but I couldn't do it.
Speaking of wipers though... I totally need new blades.
I've never done that to my windshield, but one time I was caught in a snow storm and my wipers were COATED with ice and grossness. I pulled over at an Arby's to clean off my windshield and wipers, but when I did it they came apart into two pieces. Luckily, there was some nice guy there plowing the parking lot and he came over to fix them for me.
I'm pretty sure I would have never figured out how to put them back together, LOL.
Was it you who would leave her wipers away from the windshield when it was going to be snowy/icy out? Well, if it's not, I think of you when I do that anyhow :)
Good news! Roommate's boyfriend to the rescue. He and I had looked at it last night and in daylight today I could do the first step. I didn't want to break anything though so I stopped. But he (the bf) is a guy and they don't worry about that. So he was great and fixed it for me tonight!
Anyway. New blades, always good; nice plow guys, also good; wipers not freezing to your windshield, also also good.
Hope you got your wipers fixed. You definitely need those for a 2-hour snowy drive.
Aurora, my wipers were extremely functional today. It's a good thing too!
