Maxie asked what the singles out there miss about Valentine's Day. Well, this is a lame picture of a dozen roses the Ex sent me a couple of years ago when we were still together. He always had a meeting over VD, so we usually went out for dinner a few days early (when the restaurants are nice and quiet!) and he sent me roses one year. He definitely got points for that. In general, I just miss having someone with whom to make a point of doing something nice on Feb 14th.Anyway, this week at the gym has been a killer for my arms. I don't know why, other than the fact that they are ridiculously weak I suppose. Tuesday I used one of the ellipticals with the arm things and actually did the arm part for the full 40 minutes. Wednesday, yoga. Today, it hurt to pick up my coffee. Seriously.
So I'm off to sit on the couch with wine and a heating pad switching between my two arms (to supplement the ibuprofen) and watch something girly.
P.S. I am totally addicted to playing Scrabble on Facebook, but apparently everyone else has plans tonight because no one is taking a move! Oh, well.

At the end of a long day heat is soooo therapeutic. I adore my hot water bottle, and I hope your arms feel better after having held so much heavy coffee.

I understand about the heavy coffee thing. Apparently i'm so tired after yoga and such i can't even type a blog post for about a week.

We always go out to eat early (or late)for V-day too. We can't deal with the crush that night.
On the facebook topic, I didn't even know that there were games on facebook. I know Ern said something the other day about something that didn't sound like the traditional facebook activity, but I didn't understand it. So, it didn't really sink in.
I'm such a weakling when it comes to opening bottles and jars. I'm forever asking the guys in the lab to open bottles for me. When they struggle with them too, it makes me feel justified. ;-)
I feel for your pain! I too have had showers where I could barely lift the soap after a killer workout.
Aurora, the heat helped, but I definitely had to take more advil the next day!

Danielle, missing the crowds is so much nicer! Facebook has a bunch of applications you can add. I try to limit them, but how can you resist games?
Spark, luckily I could still bath. I was half awake from not being able to drink my coffee, but smelled fine. :)
