Last Wednesday was the only day I did not feel like complete and utter crap. No fever that day! Guess how I started the day? Yoga. Hatha yoga is nice and relaxing, but that does not mean it is not challenging! I have been going to Hatha yoga at least on Wednesday mornings, and then also Sunday (for 90 minutes) if I am in town. Granted I am already getting healthier, but after yoga this morning, I feel like my head and lungs cleared a little more. I may even try to go work out tomorrow morning.
I love one of the yoga instructors at the gym I joined. She made a point of learning the names of the regulars, and I think that is a nice touch.

Yoga is awesome.
i'm kind of anti-yoga. it stresses me out. for real.
Good for you for going when you don't feel well. That is usually how I get out of my exercise routine, because I get sick and then fall off of the wagon. I'm glad it is working out so well for you, though.
Yay for yoga! I think it must be one of the best things for breathing... when I'm good about doing it a couple times a week, I stand up straighter, and I swear I can sing better (e.g., I gain a note at the top of my range when I'm singing in church). So I'm glad it helped you feel better.
Ooh, ooh, which Sunday yoga class do you go to? Maybe I can come. It's the anti-spin.
I went to church yesterday instead - that kinda stressed me out.
I do a little yoga every day and I totally swear by it. Unless I am almost dead from an illness, I often feel perfectly healthy while I'm stretching. The symptoms of whatever I have return slowly over the next half-hour. Makes me want to do yoga non-stop all day, but I think that might be too much. ;-)
Oh! I just remembered... ;o)
I just reread the title of your post--to facilitate more daily yoga, you could look into free yoga podcasts. Yoga for the People does some hour-long sessions, and yogadownload.com has some 20-30 minute sessions. All are available on iTunes and probably in other web-wise ways of which I am not aware.
Kalki, yes.
Maxie, that's sad. :(
Danielle, I only got out to yoga because I knew it wouldn't be too much!
Molly, thanks for the tips! I definitely breath deeper after yoga - probably helps with making you feel better!
KHC, it's near me. We could go to yoga and a late brunch...but not this week 'cuz I'll have company. :( So no spin either. I'm a slacker.
Spark, I feel the same way! You can feel your head clear when you hold a pose. This past week, the instructor started by giving us a tissue to blow our noses for the beginning breathing exercise (one I sometimes do before bed now).
Ahhhh...yoga.
