Gasp!

You know when you blow in an infant's face and they gasp?

I love doing that.

That's how I felt when I stepped out of the house to -20 windchill gusts this morning.

This will not stop me from blowing in infant faces. Makes me laugh everytime!

It was like that here, too. Your comment reminded me of the line from Macbeth where he says that the winds will blow so hard that they will bring tears to the eye. (I think it was colder in England then.)

We had -20 wind chill on sunday and it definitely brought tears to MY eyes. Man it was cold.

When it is like this, I wonder how we ever settled this country back in the pioneer days. I just can't imagine depending on a fireplace to heat the house when it is cold like this.

For serious. This winter has been way too wintery. :-p

Aurora, I also like it when your nose freezes together.

Danielle, I agree! There was probably very little bathing and a million layers of clothing.

Spark, yes.

Although today it is 33 degrees (F) and POURING RAIN. This is so much worse than 25 and snowing. The streets are practically rivers because there was snow first that is preventing the water from really running off the road.
