And in the end we shall achieve in timeSince then I have been listening to this station ALL THE TIME again. They have definitely changed their playlist! Almost every song reminds me of the alternative station I listened to in high school. It makes me wish I had mp3s of all those songs.
The thing they call divine
When all the stars will smile for me
When all is well and well is all for all
And forever after
I think you're smart
You sweet thing
Tell me your name
I'm dying here
It's been a while
Since I've gone and f**ked things up just like i always do
It's been a while
But all that sh** seems to disappear when i'm with you
Want to put my tender heart in a blenderAnd even stuff that seems a little less alternative-y because eventually they play it on the pop stations.
Watch it spin around to a beautiful oblivion
Rendezvous then Im through with you
His dreams are like commercialsGood stuff. This station makes me realize how "alternative" music has changed.
But her dreams are picture perfect and
Our dreams are so related though they're often underestimated
Are there any songs from 10-15 years ago that you can think of and really miss listening to?
I also like the morning DJs on another station. It is also alternative-y. One morning they were discussing whether or not they should play Candlebox on their station. They had approached their boss and he said no. So for an entire hour, they did not play a single song. They just talked about this, had people call in to vote, and played Candlebox in the background the entire time. I thought it was hilarious. Especially when they were talking about how their boss was probably so angry on his way to work in the car, that they hoped he didn't get into an accident or a speeding ticket or anything. I still laugh when I think about it.
