AHHHH!!!!

I have had about 40 or 50 "returned" emails today. The message contents are about cheap drugs and stuff like that.

Someone somehow is using my college alumni email address to spam people.

It has my full name, first and last?!

I just had it removed from the alumni directory.

I think I will also remove all my applications on Facebook.

I can not think of another place I use the email address!

Anyone ever have this happen to them?????

Yes, I have had this happen to me. But I've used my alumni email too often for me to delete it from public view, so I've just reported spam everytime it comes into gmail. Gotta love the gmail.

Ron, did you place an order? I am trying to figure out which Spam campaign was most successful.

KHC, I guess I'll just wait it out? In the meantime, all that crap is being forwarded to my hotmail instead of my yahoo. Yahoo!

My work e-mail is now out the public sphere. I get e-mails to me, supposedly from me, advertising "Big organ makes her scream" and suchlike. The campaign can't be very successful, because I haven't received any money in the mail yet. ;-)

I've had my university account for so long that I think it's probably spammed everyone in the world several times over :(

The email address I use for blogging gets almost entirely spam now. I guess too many people's blogs must show the address. It took about a year. So, at least the first year where I was really into using that email address was okay. Now, it is my trash collector for all things like Amazon, northwest, etc. (just in case they sell my address).

Spark, here's hoping someday that check will come!

Carolyn, do you have a new university account now????? :)

Danielle, that stinks. Your blog email address is great. I use my hotmail for crap.

Oh no, that is very scary. Nothing has happened to me like that. Makes me think I should go check where my email addresses are, online... I hope your spammer goes away.
