In college, Molly and I would get home from a night out, get cheese and crackers and a full Brita pitcher, and sit on one of our beds talking for an hour. I always think that it was the food and water that prevented us from feeling like crab the next day.
I still remember one night when Molly fell asleep mid-sentence, woke back up and continued the sentence. That was my indication it was time to put the water, cheese and crackers away and go to bed.
Last night I got home from going out (only about 10:30!) and had multiple brownies and a couple of glasses of water. I am only really tired today, rather than being tired and feeling crappy. :)

Will you stop bragging about your possession of brownies, Mmmm brownies. LOL
That was a funny moment! I wonder if I was even making sense at that point. Good times...
I've noticed that my hangovers are getting worse as I grow older. Is it an age thing? I don't think we were so terrible to our livers back in college that one could blame it on that...
If brownies are so helpful for your health, why not have one EVERY night before bed?
I like that idea for myself, come to think of it...
I have to say, brown rice is a lovely diet too. But life wouldn't be life without brownies.
Definitely the greasy food. And water. But greasy food. Best cure!
Ron, brownie mixes only require a couple of eggs, water, and oil. ;) Actually you can get things in the store to which you add water and microwave and get brownies out!
Molly, I am sure whatever you were saying was totally deep and meaningful, I was just too drunk to remember. ;)
Spark, EXCELLENT idea. If not a brownie, certainly chocolate!
Aurora, can you imagine being allergic to chocolate like Molly's (above) mom?
Ern, what is it about the greasy food? Makes the alcohol slide right through? Who knows?
I swear by lots of water and some kind of breakfast sandwich. It always does the trick for me.
