I saw a couple of friends yesterday who asked when I would be going somewhere because they love looking at my pictures on Facebook. I was touched! I am not sure if I have my pictures from Africa on CD anywhere, but I do have a few on my computer. (The discs are probably packed away.) I did start going through the discs on my desk and found some favorites though. I posted
the few I have from China before. Here are a couple from Africa. This is me attempting to draw water. Too bad I don't have a picture of me trying to carry a giant bucket of water on my head?!

My friend's "niece" and "nephew" (from her Peace Corps host family).

Another "nephew".

Me cutting some stuff up for dinner and goofing around with the kids.

A village in the country that we hiked up to.

And some more favorites I found as I went through the discs. This is a candid of my niece at the beach when she was about 15 months old.

And kitty pictures when I lived with my friends with the two cats! This one is fuzzy, unfortunately, but it's my friends' cats watching the water drizzle in the sink.

Watching the squirrels...

I wish I had taken a picture of them on that rack once a month. If they were to both try to share a space that size now, it soooo wouldn't work.

Cool Pix!!
I love your Africa photos!
The pictures from Africa look so interesting. Thank you for sharing.
And the kitties are funny.
I love the photo of the little girl with the baby on her back. It's very striking.
Ron and Molly, thanks!
Danielle, the kitties aren't always *that* in sync. :-)
Spark, I have another of that same girl that is amazing, but I don't know where it is...
I love the "niece/nephew" one. Beautiful.
I love the photos!
Where in Africa? When were you there?
Kalki, thanks!
Aurora, I went to Senegal for about 3 weeks almost 5 years ago now.
